Summary
This bill modifies provisions related to mailed ballots and ballot drop boxes.
What it does
- This bill:
- provides that, for a ballot that is mailed to be valid, the election officer must receive the ballot before the polls close on election day;
- requires an election officer to ensure that at least one ballot drop box is located no more than a 60-minute drive from 95% of registered voters in the election officer's jurisdiction; and
- makes technical and conforming changes.
