LONG TITLE
General Description:
This bill amends bicycle and moped handlebar requirements.
Highlighted Provisions:
This bill:
▸ amends requirements for bicycle and moped operators to maintain control; and
▸ removes the requirement for a person operating a bicycle or moped to keep at least
one hand on the handlebars at all times.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
Section 1. Section 
41-6a-1112
 is amended to read:
41-6a-1112.
Maintaining control of bicycles and mopeds.
(1) A person operating a bicycle or moped shall maintain control of the bicycle or
moped at all times.

 A person operating a bicycle or moped may not carry any package, bundle, or
